Is Cindy Liendo trying to sell influence for votes?

SOURCES INSIDE THE LPD HAVE PROVIDED THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:

LPD currently is considering the applications of officers to fill NINE investigator’s position.

FOURTEEN CANDIDATES are being considered. Again, there are budgeted openings for NINE new investigators. FOURTEEN are trying to get the jobs.

CINDY LIENDO, who kicked off her campaign for Mayor at the LPOA hall, has promised and is working to get ALL FOURTEEN candidates into those NINE spots. Coincidence?  Don’t bet on it.  

Ms. Liendo has shown us that she’s willing to cut any kind of deal she can behind closed doors if it means more support at the ballot box.  She may be younger, but is a living example of Partido Viejo politics… the kind of BS we rejected in the spring when we threw Danny Valdez out and again when we told Raul Salinas he was NOT entitled to a fat county job just because he wanted it.

Cindy’s fellow City Council members will not support her on this. We’ve already heard that some of them are speaking out against this reckless disregard for the City budget and disrespect for the work that everybody did to assess the future needs of LPD.

Fact is, Cindy Liendo is doing what “they all do” — brokering City jobs for votes and using her big mouth to make promises her fat ass can’t cash.  Apparently, she doesn’t care about our opinion, our tax dollars or our city budget as long as there are votes in it for her.

CALL CINDY LIENDO and let her know that we will not put up with any more backroom jobs for votes/support corruption.
